Client: Dj Atodocolor

Project: Album cover design for “Adjowa”.

Briefing: Eva is a well-known pioneer in Dj and Vj-ing. She has been using technology to create interesting sounds and mixing her own music. This project was for her a voyage to her African roots. She also came up with the idea of illustrating her body turned to a mixing and mapping machine.

Execution: We created the illustration first, based on a photo of her. The bluish colour on her right arm is reminiscent of the actual image she sees using her Vjing programme. We combined the image with her favourite gold colour and African elements.

Comment: Unfortunately this project was never published. It still remains though one of our favourite works in CD cover design.
